Is there any chance the SSD is somehow damaged? I'm running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, tho. I already tried to change from AHCI to IDE too (i did it just now), and the SSD keeps freezing. I bought the SSD 3 weeks ago, when i had my old system, then i though the freezing was caused by my old MB (it was an Asus with LGA1155), so i decided to build a new system.

[quote=Did you build this system yourself or buy it as a prebuilt or someone else built it ?įorgive me, but you said you bought the system last week but now have installed a new Kingston SSD in there.so just trying to figure out a timeline here as to when the issue seems to have presented itself, and maybe if there is something else causing the freeze, instead of the SSD itself. I don't want random people commenting "i have this problem too" because it fixes nothing. Pls, comment only you know how to solve this problem. HDD: Seagate Pipeline (i guess?) HDD 500GB (This is the only old hardware I have on the PC and I use it only for backup) RAM: HyperX Predator RGB 8GB DDR4 3000Mhz All my system is brand new (I mean, i bought it last week). It's really annoying specially when i'm playing. I already tried changing from IDE to AHCI on BIOS (I didn't change it cause it already was on AHCI mode), downloaded the Kingston SSD Manager to update the firmware (is up to date) and i already tried adding that AHCI power save thing to windows. I recently bought a Kingston A400 480GB SSD but it keeps freezing for about 5-8 sec. Hello guys, i came here asking for help because i can't find a fix that works anywhere.
